The WaterLex Legal Database Project (WLDP) is an initiative connecting academics and water-governance practitioners from around the world to articulate evolving law and legal doctrine to multi-level water governance practices in a dynamic online platform.

The objective of the project is to provide a unique and innovative source of reference for water-governance practitioners engaging in activities as diverse as: academic research on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); integrated water resources management (IWRM); water security; legal practice; or law and policy design.
