On Monday, 5 October, 2015, the Canton de Vaud (Switzerland) and the Gymnase de Burier, invited WaterLex to present its workshop on “Water, a Human Right and Responsibility.” Gymnase de Burier will host the 13th European Youth Parliament for Water in March 2016.

Dr. Elodie Tranchez and Brieux Michoud of WaterLex trained the classes (approximately 50 students) on the human right to water and sanitation. They invited the students to take action by reducing their consumption, cleaning local rivers or ponds, and sharing their experience to their friends and families. The students were engaged in the campaign #WaterRules by WaterLex.

This is a new step for WaterLex in the development of its new programme on civil society and youth mobilization.
